    Thumbs up 202 Hx

Ashame about the sunroof, but i have recently did a bit of a deal & purchased this ute. Great paint job, but some of the mechanicals & electrics are a little rough around the edges, I have already replaced the wiring harness, harmonic balancer, rebuilt the brakes, put a kit through the carby (& i did add electronic ignition)
It will end up being a great ute even though it is a 202, I originally was going to change the running gear but have decided against that. This is the first 6 I have ever owned.(not counting my wife's cars).
    I am really enjoying it.

    Cheers Vic

Looks like a nice tidy ute, is it a sandman, or does it just have all the sandman bits etc. (they did have 6cyl I think in a HX but correct me if I am wrong)

You don't see too many HX 6cyl manuals anymore with that silly 1/2 cable rat-trap setup. Most 6cyl Sandmans have long gone to car hell (Korea).

It had 19V trim so it can't be it unless it has been retrimmed. I thought that car had a HJ clutch mech too.

Funny; that's probably one of the first things I checked when i lifted the bonnet. It is a pretty original car I will spend the next few months tidying up a few little things.I am sure there will always be someone around to point something out thats wrong. Part of the fun. I did decide that it would be a real sin to change the running gear, & I am even growing to like the tan interior. Never thought i'd own a 202.

    Cheers Vic
