Yeah them kids dont learn emselfs nothink in skools no more.........theys not learning em right.

There isnt any excuse for misuse of grammar. I admit that I am guilty of this crime Your Honour!
The way I look at it, my folks paid for me to have a good education, I probably should not let that go to waste by "letting standards slip" as it were.

It is fun to do it occasionally though, it irritates them to no end!

I am picking up a few issues in my english with the posts on this thread....

My biggest problem is I cant spell very well, actually I am appalling at spelling. The other problem is I am worse at maths. I was always coming 184 out of 184 in my year at school. I reckon it was a 100% effort looking back now.

Americanisation of english is another hate of mine. Combine is becoming the excepted word for header. We invented the bloody things and named them headers so thats what they are!
    SUV......come on.
Well I was brought up in Britain and they used a combine harvester to harvest the corn...which is what they call crops (all crops) I am an Australian now and we strip the crops with a Header...

But I do hate it when I go into a nice boutique type shop and they ask "are yas (sounding ewes) right..I usually say yes thanks, but would like to say I am not a sheep may I help you is far nicer...my mother was a pom, and corrected me all the time, I also hate"I haven't saw that in a while" which should be I have not seen that in a while...in saying that Rodney says I seen that on TV, and I cannot be bothered to tell him anymore...that is just him....
