Anybody have a clue why the HJ parts manual lists the 5L chassis as a different part number???.... strange I thought they were all the same.

Because that part number is the entire chassis including gearbox crossmember. And since 5L auto gearbox crossmember is different the part number for the whole chassis is different. You'll notice the 5.0L manual is the same part number as the rest.
ahhhh.. didnt notice that. Of course the elusive Turbo 400 commercial models. Were these only Sandman or could you get one as an order?

You could get 308 auto on any HQ-HZ utes and vans, and on HZ 1-tonner with BO6 only. I've also seen 308 auto HJ, HX and WB 1-tonners although i've never seen any documentation showing how it was possible. Same for 308 WB utes and vans, but a few were made.
