The van is a replica of the van HDT used as a rally service vehicle in the late 70's / early 80's. From all accounts a HZ Sandman with a roofrack, bullbar and signage to match the rally cars they ran at that time. I would love to report more progress on my van but unfortuately the panel beater who repainted my van it did a poor job so I am now in the process of trying to get him to redo the job properly

After a disappointing first effort panel beater # 2 started on the rear quarter repair on Saturday. This bloke seems to have a bit more passion so I should end up with a good job this time.

Hi Anthony, Great to see something different coming thru the shed's!! gotta say you have my mind churning about possibilities for my weekend worrier that I need to get on the road before the cop's take the tonner off the road, I was going to do a mock sandy but...who knows maybe even a GTS Van or blaa blaa blaa. the new shed has now been ordered so hopefully I can get a good start on my 'many' projects in the coming months!!

Engine is now complete. Auto is with the transmission shop getting some love. Going to drink the sticker blokes beer next week which should result in the art work for the stickers being finalized. So progress is being made slowly.
