    Number plates

    Got some great news today from the transport dept. They okayed my custom plates for my HZ van
    1BADVAN At first they rejected the plates because they thought I had requested 1BADMAN could you imagine that on a Panelvan. Imagine when I pick up the kids from school the looks I would get.

    What plates do others have? Or have thought of getting?

    I'm a long way off from registering but if I get a chance I'd like to have;
    MLC-064 or MLC-075

    hoping the new club rego will kick in in Victoria soon where you get 90 days per year on a log book method to drive your car.

    Much cheaper rego and worth forgoing the custom plates for.

    Hehe, that's quite funny. Is the first because you were born in 64 and the second because you have a 75 model HJ ????

    I have HZSAND on mine. Gotta be full size plates too IMHO. Slimline are fine for modern cars, not for the classics.
