Would I be correct in assuming that "SS" ute's are the modern equivalent of a Sandman? Although there seem to be plenty more "SS's" on the road,and I could not imagine they will ever be in short supply.

I always reckoned it was the Maloo, SS is more the Kingswood? Thats what I reckon anyway. I would love to have the money to put a VG Maloo in the shed next to my hopefully restored HX Sandman.
Yep, would like to have a new one for sundays for the next 30 years myself.....
