    Let the rebuild begin

This is our 9/78 XX7 HZ Sandman Panelvan, Flamenco Red, 253, 4spd. We bought the van some time ago as a family project. We finally moved it out of storage today so the rebuild can finally start. It's not going to be a quick rebuild as I want the kids to do a great deal of the work and I have lots of other commitments. Quality of rebuild will be 100%. But we have decided we want to use the van as much as possible so we will not be going to concourse standards. I will update as we go. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as I like restoring Holdens.

It has been resprayed at some stage. How can you tell if it was a DL7 originally? Sale order papers?

    Cheers Dave
