Great weekend in the Hunter Valley with Sundowners Van Club. Originally planned a normal weekend and made motel reservations. Turns out the motel owner bought a Sandman last year and told us about the cruise. Met up with many independent van enthusiasts. Huge numbers (it was like Holden Day with variety icon7.png ) All types of vans from minis, escorts, holdens, fords and kombis. Must have been close to 30 vans.
We'll be back next year for sure - staying at a Sandman owners motel...

that purple van with the HQ stato front is from up this way, the guy lives down near taree and is a member of the mid coast old holdens car club, i went for a cruise with them not so long ago. hes a top bloke, funny as. didnt realise he was selling it tho, such a shame cause its a nice van! has a commodore injected v8, box and diff in it.

Dave (hotel owner) has owned the van for quite a few years now, nearly 5, and yes is the Coke prize give away Van from some years ago, the winner sold it and Dave picked it up I think for 17k, nice van, its the van that got me into them and made the wife get me to buy one hahahaha
Great day as i said and some nice vans, Mr Agro shame you never got a shot of Neville for me, only his nose
But a top run and great day well worth the effort guys, I belave Dave takes out the Mid North Coast Holdens and other visitors on a run most years too on the Saturday
