Ok, my question is if I bought a HQ, is it difficult to change the HQ dash to a HJ-WB shape dash? reason is I prefer those dash designs.

its not difficult if you have panelbeating/metalwork skills the right tools and patience..
Well thats me out the widow then I guess I could have a panel beater do it.......
yep...around a 12 hour job..maybe less if they are real good or more if they are not..thats just changing the metal..does not include the time taken to strip out the dash or put it all back in...so add another?...8 to 10 hours.
$$$$$
thats what it comes back to! Thanks Greg, once again your knowledge is awesome!
I wouldn't attempt it, unless I was doing a front cut and shut from the firewall/floor joint up to the pillars.
Thast not as silly as it sounds HK. Especiaslly if the plenums etc are rusted, do a "half cut" type of operation from a donor and it'd be probably a lot easier. A job I think Ill leave to the professionals, dont want to be responsable for ruining one of Holden's finest!
I've done them before from the front to rear floor joint right around to the pillars.
That mayb e somthing worth considering I guess if the tinworm is right through the cab area
