WANTED - tailgate lock part

Hi all.

Here goes the worst description ever... You know the upper tailgate locking mechanism where you twist the handle and it pulls the rods on both sides and releases the locked sides....? Im after that retangular shaped thingy majigy that the ends of the long rods sit in.. It has 2 long holes on each end. I have 3 and theyre all broken. I know that doesnt really make any sense but does anyone have one of those parts they could sell me...? Guess I should just take a pic of it.

In fact while Im at it if anyone has a complete mechanism with a working lock that'd float my boat too.

Ive got two of these and they are very good. Rares also has the rods i think. Jennie and Rodney have used them on yheir Van.
As for the handle, I managed to get my local locksmith, who is in his 60s and drives a HZ pano as his work vehicle to re key and repair one of my handles.
Took him a while and cost $120 with 3 keys and that included matching 2 replacement door locks I got from OZ.

Yes we used rares square bit with long holes in it from oz and the rods latches and springs they are working fine we also like Gaddy got our local lock smith to key mine the same as my outer locks.

Thanks guys. Didnt realise rares made the piece. Ill grab one.

As for the lock yeah ive had about 6 pannos over the years and only 1 ever had a working lock. Unobtanium....

Getting onto the locksmith is a good idea though.
