    HJ bonnet release?

    Guys (if you know) is this a HJ bonnet release button... sorry fuzzy photo was taken with one hand while stretching out on one leg!

    The one in my hj wagon is solid colour. Which is the same as the one in my hz ute.

    Andrei not sure about your HJ but rodney thinks your HZ should have a T type hood release pull...

    Sure is...... that is the correct knob for HQ, HJ and HX..... I haven't looked into it but it may also be correct for early HZ????

    HZ and WB had the T handle.

    As the Goat has said the emblem should be solid white. These are pretty hard to find these days.....

    Thanks I thought it was original because the bracket (that usually breaks) was in good condition.

    I will remove it, clean it up and repaint it.

    AFAIK that isnt correct for majority of hq's, only very late hq's, most had HOOD in writing ?
