new here trying to id a van

gday all im new here and this is my first post so please be gentle

anyway a couple of mates and i are thinkin of a project with the hj van we have either

do it up if it is genuine or

put a big block in and have some fun with it

anyway my question is i have been on the web site and have read everything i can about how to identify the van but i have one problem here is what i have

8m70rfh3*****j which tells me its a commercial panelvan 253 76 built in brisbane hj

3/76 gvw 1950 bhj*****b 2 seater

hj8wm70 xx7
trim 1888 19v
paint 568 15951
eng L32 trans M20 axle GV4

all these seem to tell me its genuine but the tyre placard reads
9942959 which when i look it up is a tyre placard for a HX 6cylinder belmont/kingswood sedan

not sure whwt to make of it could it be a replacment glovebox lid ???

all help will be apreciated

It has probably just had a glovebox lid change. BODY plate is definitely a Sandman, and the ADR plate most likely is too. You'll know if the VIN plate belongs to the BODY plate, but I can't tell you if the ADR plate belongs to the others without knowing the chassis number.
