    HQ Ute Finally Arrives

Finally got my ute yesterday. I have lots of bits in boxes, some good, some bad and not sure where to start. I also have half a drum of screws, nuts and bolts to sort through. Luckily I have some original mirrors, 1 very poor original sunvisor and some good trim pieces. Electrics look average, ute has not been driven for at least 17 years if not longer (was painted 8 years ago and never put back together. One very old and broken GTS fascia. All I can say is fun.

You bet I am excited. Body is pretty straight and something to work with. The owner prior to the gent I bought it from has welded a panel across the front of the tray which disppointed me but the tray is beautiful and straight. I will have to take it out in the future. Paintwork is pretty good but I plan to repaint in original colour down the track.

no I agree, especially with the right wheels and the red walls look a treat. I will eventually sell the mags.
