    Car for Stickthis

Nice except for the tartan inserts and stripes. Would be a great drive car.

Nothing wrong with the tartan and stripes. Of course I have to say that cause mine is exactly the same. No where near as clean as that one of course , but then again my purchase price was about 2% of the asking price of that one.

I reckon that's about the neatest one I've ever seen, especially if the paint is original.

I've always liked HZ GTS's in white, but never been a fan of the optional stripes. Tartan was always best covered by sheepskin! The nicest one I ever saw was actually Ultra Blue.

I always look at these cars perplexed. I mean, how did an auto, white, tartan and vynal roof ever equal sporty car.

I think they were more of a grand touring car. The hatchback Torana was the sporty car.

I reckon the tartan trim was nice. I know what I would rather park my ars$ on in the summer, cheap vinyl or tartan material?

Was HZ GTS the only HQ-WB with optional cloth trim(excepting statesman)?

Cloth insert was available at least from the start of HK. Possibly Kingswood/Monaro upwards but I think it was available in Belmont passenger as well.

Agree with goat, the HZ's were pretty tame looking when optioned with all the gear. HZ sandy's, now they were sporty!

Yes Byron. Thats a nice GTS. Nearly the same as mine. Except mine has no cloth insert! Just the way I like it haha. Same eng and trans and paint and colour trim otherwise.

Pitty about the blackout gts guards. Would be nice without them.

First one I have recorded with a vinyl roof too!

    --- Updated ---

T350? hmmmm. looking at the chassis number its one of the first HZ's off the line too.

Nice Car but 2 too many doors for me!!
Now if it was an SS HQ then I could put up with the extra doors no worries..
