    Rodney's Fergie

Last year Rodney, his Dad, and 3 brothers went on a Fergie run from Cobar to Louth (Western NSW) on the June Long weekend, and decided he wanted to have one as well. So keeping his ears on the ground found this old girl.

she only needs a bit of a paint, and appears to go well...

HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob

Hey! Thats a pretty good looking old girl. Still got the tool box on the side.

A friend and I have one on a bit of land we bought up in the mountains. To me its still very much a tool but to my mate its a toy and I am sure he has visions of restoring it and going on runs like that.
Heres a picture of me starting the site cut for our Hut. She has since had new tyres, roll bar and a basic engine rebuild but still giving us some trouble but I'm sure it will come good in the end. It has done some good work making tracks for the kids.
They don't make em like that any more.

Is it a TEA 20? Petrol or Diesel? Gotta love the Fergies talk about workhorses.

When there's real work to be done you need a red one. Wish I had a bucket like Twotee's one though.
This is the day I brought it home. Ironically, it's first job was to tow the truck out of the boghole it's sitting in. There's an underground spring running through that gully which turns into an above ground creek pretty quick and then takes a long time to dry out.

Just don't remember where i saw it.
It was dark on the way back so couldn't see anything.

Wasn't the Red one a 35hp over the grey 20hp?

Yes Badvan, it is a T20 and petrol...this one isn't going to have a V8 put in it, we will leave it original, and paint it perhaps...

There are a couple of different ones. There's the MF 35 and it's updated model the 135. Then there's the MF65 which is a bit bigger (that's what mine is) and it's updated model was the 165.
The TEA20's are a great little tractor but once you try to drag a decent sized load they just haven't got the wieght to get traction.
