Saw this nice wagon parked near the shops yesterday. I thought it would give ambientgoat some inspiration.
That look's quite good.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
It's even got the petrol spill guard on it. I had one of those when I had my ute, to protect the stripe.

Mission is to find a 308 version. And then find a 4spd. VERY rare. I recall an L31 M41 HZ Kingswood SL wagon from many years ago, but i've never seen a 4spd example. I have ID off a few HZ L31 M41 Premier wagons.
I know where one is/was. My next door neighbour owned it. White, 5 litre, 4 speed, gts dash and factory air. Sad part is its now stuffed and has had the 5 litre removed and replaced with a 6. The really sad bit is I was too slow to get it to wreck. I might be able to get the tags for you if you want them Byron.
He was an admiral in the navy so was an unusual choice for a car for a man who entertained the Queen for tea once!
I'd love the tags. Simply to add to my collection.
Will see how I go Byron.
The fella who painted my van has an immaculate HZ wagon that came standard with 308, GTS Dash, GTS Steering Wheel, GTS Wheels, AC. and so on. Ill get a photo for goat, bloody nice car.
