We had a fantastic time at the van Nationals on Phillip Island this year...We met many new like minded vanners who are as nutty as us about their vans.

We also met face to face with Ski man, Ambient goat, blocker, Bern, jbsandman76, HZsandman, Absinth, and their families, or partners etc.

Mysandman.com.au has brought a lot of friends together, and we all had a wonderful time and showing our vans to each other....

We also met a guy who asked whether he might have had a sandman, and wondered about numbers etc. thanks to what we have learned on this forum, we were able to clarify he did have a sandman, and he was stoked... (18V tim code did it for us) and he will go on the forum, as will a few other people whom I suggested jump onto the site, and have a look, and join....even though they said "we don't own sandmans only panel vans" we soon put them straight on that....

Ski Man received an encouragement award - congratulations on his effort his van is awesome, but we would say that wouldn't we

Goat got wet packing up his tent, they were soaked with dew....and as for being awesome yes and we have you to thank for that....

James is a REALLY nice bloke.
I rang him a week before the nats to see how he was.
A VERY likeable person with a great deal of knowledge. (also has a van in storage that i'd REALLY REALLY like to get hold of).

Yes we did, and he was very kind to give us some rope as a tornedo erupted just as we arrived and we needed to hold down our annexe...he was always helping everyone shine up their vans etc.

Hoping to catch up with him again some time. He remined us of you so it didn't surprise us when he said he knew you well.
