    My 1976 HX PVAN

This is my 1976 Hx kingswood windowless panel van.
    It had a 253, Tri-matic column shift
I bought it on the 1st of September 2007 for $3,500
I have bought a M21 for it to convert it to manual

I know it isn't a Sandman but I love the van and there is nothing like cruising in it so i hope it's ok to utilise this great website.

Let me know what you think.

Welcome mate. The mere fact that you have a nice, clean HX Holden Panel Van gives you a right to this fine Sandman website. Nice clean HX find mate! Hats of to you. Looks a beaut!

You won't want an M21 behind a 253 with probably a 3.08:1 diff. Yuk! Use an M20. Great looking van though.

    Thanks guys

It had a re spray about 15 years ago. it has some fire wall rust, the doors are buggered. The picture hides all the nasties.

Love the home made shed cost me 200 bucks

I haven't taken here out yet because i bought it when i was on my L's and with the V8 laws made it to hard to find someone to come with me to take it to any shows.

I am now starting a bit of a rebuild (interesting to see how far I go)

Also is it just the ratio that is different between the M20 and M21??
