A mate of mine has a business (not smash repair) and has 2 spray booths. He's open between Christmas and New Year for sales but the workshop is closed so I get the booth to myself for 3 days.

Happy days. Beats sitting around with the family eating for a week. At least you'll have something awesome to show for your efforts. I'm dreading the holiday season already.

I got all the panels in hi fill over the weekend. That leaves me 9 days, and counting, to get it ready for paint. I can feel a few early afternoon disappearances from work coming on.

Looking sweet man gonna come up an absolute gem.. Just a question as im new to panel repair. Did you just replace rusty sections by cutting out the rust then either boarding it over with a new panel section and then bogging it up?

The rusty bits were cut out and new steel welded back in, ground down then bogged and filed. The bog is mainly for tidying up the welds.

Auto stores (Repco Auot Pro etc) tend to charge heaps more for it. Find a local auto paint supply shop, they will usually give you a better deal (and qualified advice) on all the stuff you need like wet 'n dry sand paper, bog, paint, thinners and can recommend what to use etc.

My hat off to you! Working so well with great results in such a small work area.
Thanks for your regular updates, I'm looking forward to the next.
