    Sandman Jack

Finally after searching Ebay forever I have managed to get a correct HQ to HZ jack. There are a lot that look correct but are for earlier vehicles..... noteably the tag where you put the handle to pull the jack back out from under the car, it is flat metal and not boxed like found on others. The base lip is also fairly thin and turned up at an angle.

This is the correct jack for your Sandman van and ute.

I think they are the proper commercial jacks, at least that is the same as the one in my WB. I think those chunkier ones must be from an earlier series, or not. I will stand to be corrected on that though.

They are...... considering they were in every ute, van and tonner from HQ to WB they are quite hard to find now.... everyone must have done what I did back in the day and toss it in the shed to be replaced by a quicker and easier to use hydraulic one.

I got a really good handle with it also....

Yes mine has been dragged across the tar too many times... all I can make out of the date stamp is a number 1...
