I watched that one on ebay as it looked to be from a Adelaide built HQ just prior to the vins that were allocated to a batch of what look to be HQ SS's.
A good buy that's for sure
When you get it would there be any chance that I could get the details from the
warranty cert from you.
If I read it correctly its from Reeves Garage which was dealer code 653 from what I have been told. But I am not 100% sure on that
That dealer code sold a few SS's so if I can get the vin number from you I can get it checked on the Fiche and confirm if the number is correct.
Also on a side note Leroy and I are collecting all the HQ details that we can come across for what ever type of HQ it is.
we are up to 1100 mostly complete sets of details now and around 1400/1500 if you include the partial detail vehicles as well.
So a mere 480 000 odd to go and we will be finished. lol
Cheers Paul.
No worries Paul, I'll scan it and post it up when it arrives. I can see Reeves garage, it's a Vacationer sedan, Adelaide built, 202, white/zodiac blue, delivered 29th Nov 72.

OOh i wish i had of seen that one! Nice score..
paul, get hold of byron if you have not already as i gave him my old dealers books to get records from which go back around 15 years..
Still working on them when time permits! Probably not much use to Paul's records though as they are only chassis numbers, with the odd original engine thrown in. Bloody amazing even in the 90's how many pre VL had engine changes!
Thanks Absinth.
That will be greatly appreciated.
What a coincidence that it is a Vacationer one after saying about the two vacationer build sheets in the other thread.
Missed out on this lot the other day
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=180641996825
It finished just before I got home and I had forgot to bid on it the night before.
Genuine 73 GTS warranty certificate and owners book.
But at least we got to add the details of the vehicle to the spreadsheet.
Byron. Any details will be appreciated what ever they are and what ever HQ's they are for.
As far as I am concerned to have a partial record on something is better than no record at all.
Cheers Paul.
Bugger, didn't see that one...... books are almost as good with a better ID cert... and 1/3 the price..... oh well, can't win em all
Did score well with a couple of HJ tailgate badges... one is Nos.... for some reason these are pretty hard to find also...

Hi Tony.
Thanks for that.
I cannot quite make out the details from the certificate so if you can post them up or email to me what they actually are I would greatly appreciate it.
Cheers Paul.
