I did put chrome sills on because I couldn't find a decent pair of standard sills (still looking). I tried to have an old set replated but that didn't work out too well.

haha yep, I have been looking on Ebay for ages and do you think a standard set of anodised door sills would show up. Why didnt the re-anodising fix them up? They all look crappy as the coating mustn't of be as tough as the chrome.

BTW thanks for sharing your knowledge. There arnt many origional HQ Sandman owners we have unearthed...lol
