GTS Steering wheel cleaning

G'day Sandman family ... I am looking for some advice on how to clean paint off a GTS steering wheel.

It is a HZ one in buckskin which has been painted with black vinyl paint. I would like to take it back to its original colour without damaging it. Thew spokes are ok, just the vinyl parts.

Not sure whether thinners would be ok to use, has anyone done this?

go to bunnings and get a 'Balbo Power Pad' ..... take your time and rub lightly as it is a very very mild abrasive... its a great product
