Got my Tail tent yesterday, cant wait to put her on the beast!!
Actaully that means now i have an excuse to go camping and christen it!!
Awesomesauce!!
Will.Co I think I have seen your thread before and not commented. F***** nice colour &van, enjoying it still??? I am sure you are. Have fun!!
Hey Mick,
Thanks for that mate, she is a beauty and I love her, enjoy her regullarly but moved house recently so she is in need of a good cleanout as its been a bit of time between rides..Plus i noticed a bit of oil the other day, so a tune up is in order as well..
So glad i bought her instead of listening to some others just cause of the old XX7 debate even though i understand it, she is still a great piece of motoring history and i love driving it!
Im saving for a complete rebuild of the engin and bay and dont want to do much till then as its still the orig engine and even though its still strong she is old and needs care so a young hoon like me needs restricting till i can make her purr like new again as she deserves.
I did get a tail tent off the boys here though and its a beauty..well done to them for making them i hope they sell out!!
Hows tricks for you mate.
Yeh really good, except I am at work at the moment, but yeh got my van on the road just before christmas and been enjoying it heaps, had a few ups and downs with ignition and exhaust hitting on body, only small stuff. still need some music?? but that will come soon(have a look at the thread HJ sandman>> Long Road. Be good if you can make it up next year for Van nats. anyway keep on vanning!!! sorry I am window less person, but love that colour of yours.(to find it with interior like that is fantastic).
Is this the van . . ?? Thanks to Byron for putting me onto it originally. DSC03499.jpgDSC03500.jpg
That's him! I'll have to get a good photo of it off you one day for the book, as I have a picture of it in there as a "before".
That is basically what I said Adam, ie vans with Elizabeth bodies. There would be some Dandenong bodied utes but not many around anymore.
