    Lowering blocks

Does anyone know about the legalities of lowering blocks in vic? My van needs to come down about 3 inches but i was told by someone that 2 inches is the max for blocks... Anyone know? Also on the subject , theres lots for sale on ebay... Can anyone recommend a good brand and the ones / sellers to avoid? Cheers.

I wouldn't lower a HZ. They don't drive as well lowered, and you forever scrape on everything including front tyres destroying guards. RTS is a pretty good setup.

    Hi Hainzy
Give this guy a call in Ballarat. He lowered by Monaro a few years back and has been around for years and knows his stuff.(I think him and his dad lowered Noah's ark)
    He operates under Henderson & Son 16 Butt Street 53 323 276.

    cheers Rob

Thanks rob. Ill give him a call. Cheers for the number. Just gotta wait til i have some spare cash. Was looking at the cheaper option than having the sptings reset. Maybe ill be able to get 2 of every animal in the back of the van!

Yep byron i would agree but as you know this van came from tamworth and it looks almost like an overlander its so high. As someone blocker? Pointed out... Would look much nicer sitting properly....

If it is sitting higher than it should, why not just put proper original springs in it? Will be cheaper, easier and safer than lowering blocks.

my ute is 2" lowered all round. It sits about 75-80mm off the ground in some places. Just be aware may look good but you WILL have issues on the streets......

Kingswood country to lowering block sets new for around $70 (he is a power seller on ebay.)
a 2 "rear drop in a HZ is a fair bit. 3" and you will be in yellow sticker territory.

why not go 1.5 inch lowering kit in rear and 40 mm lowered up front?
