The two hoses would of gorn to compressed and condenser etc obviously it is after market integrated unit ,the compressor was probably removed to install the gas unit I think the hole in ducting is standard I think I would start fresh and install your factory ac unit will install picture of my ac under bonnet when I find one.

my HJ Statesman has all the bits still hooked up for A/C. How good do these older A/C systems work? would a smaller compressor from a new little car work as well and alittle less drag on the engine. Mine was regasses about 5 years ago. service sticker on it. but its dead now.As my statesman is about to come my daily driver.

    Hi all,
thought this would be the best place for this question. I have been cleaning out the shed and found these air con parts i pulled out of a WB van at the tip years ago, do you think they are they for a aftermarket intergrated system? Ill probably try and sell it all if anyone is interested as its of no use to me.

i pulled one of the inner guards of a set of wb stato guards so they take up less room, the passenger has a rectangle cut into it and then a plate screwed over it, is this the a/c inner guard and whats it do??

They have holes in them to mount the A/C equipment like drier, circuit breakers etc.

Looks like my wb 6cyl compressor is starting to get into the 'too hard to fix' basket. Was talking to my local sparky and he has suggested this as a new replacement.

    Any thoughts or suggestions? Reliability?

It's apparently just a straight bolt on replacement for the original. Less load on the engine too I believe?
