Carby studs/bolts

Hi guys

the parts catalogues are a little confusing in regards to the carby mounting studs on the holden v8's

some list 4 studs for 253 & 308 and some list 2 studs / 2 bolts for 308

im taking a stab in the dark and thinking 2 barrels ran 4 studs? and 4 barrels ran 2 studs/2bolts???

anyone able to clarify?

That is pretty much correct.
Quaddy's run 2 x long bolts and 2 x studs. All blue and black V8 (except Bedford and HO pack on L34) ran Quadrajets, all 304 and 308 ran Quadrajet.
All red 253 ran WW Stombergs, and these ran 4 x studs.
