Respray - colour help please

I've read numerous threads here and now I find that I'm more confused than ever with what colour to respray my van (got to finalize the colour soon).
Now I know that there are a lot of purists on here which would say to paint in the original colour, but mine was Malachite Green (not a big fan of this colour) and I have always planned to paint it in a Metallic Blue. But my dilemma now is whether to keep the pano true to Sandman colours, or go with the original colour I liked.
I was going to respray her Bermuda Blue, as I really liked this when I had my VT HSV Clubsport - It changed colour shades in the different lights. But now I'm not sure that I shouldn't stay with an HZ Sandman colour and for a 79' about as close as I get is the Nocturne Blue, but prefer the look of the Windsor Blue (but that's a 78' HZ color - not metallic?).
I'd be interested to see what everyone thought please, as I'm a bit confused & I'd sort of like to get this right

Don't worry about what any else thinks, you are the one that will be driving it, maybe if you where going to sell it later then original colour could be beneficial but the 'purists' would say that it is only original colour and not original paint. You have to live with it, no one else

Paint it what you want. Windsor blue is metallic.

I sort of want to get it right, but I don't want to stuff up an iconic car either (as you see a lot do!!).
But I think your right and I don't plan on ever selling my pano (planning to get buried in it?!).
I waited too long to get one!!

There is a bloke aroud my area that has a Tuxedo Black HX??? and he has painted it orange.
His reply to this is that it's only a paint job to change it back.
