No such records exist. All I can tell you are utes are much less common today than vans. 99% of post 10/75 Sandmans recorded today are XX7's. XU3's are the rarer of Sandmans in general. Palais white itself is fairly common today compared to other colours. I have 16 recorded, 3 of which are utes: 2 x XX7 and 1 x XU3.

I took mine (77) out of the shed out at home where it's been stashed for a few months, tried to dodge the turds on the road from my cattle on the way out, and blasted the dust and cobwebs out on the way into town to give it a bath. Pride of place in the drive way for a few days until it gets put back in the darkness for a while.

Had to take my 12 yr old son for a lap as soon as he knew it was in town. It's been promised to him (depending on Senior school results), just need to get a 6 cyl replica done for his first car sometime in the next 5 years. I've got my Dad's '91 Landcruiser ute for him for a first car but it's just not cool enough. I try and tell him it's a lot cooler than the '78 Sunbird that I had to buy myself. I think we spoil them...???

Tend to agree with you Paddy, spoiling them.
My daughter's, (3 of them), all had much better first car's than me, they had air con and power steer as well. They were used 4 cyl's as such, but hey, air con is a luxury. My first car was a 69, 4 cyl torana, with no heater and no radio, but it got me to work at least.
