Well it has happened. I officially made a start (re-start) on the van after 10 years.
Had a couple of panel beaters come over on the weekend and spent a few hours beating the van. They got most of the repairs done bar the ugly LH rear tail light and tail gate.
The rest will get done hopefully this week and the plan is to have it hi filled next weekend.
I spent some time going through boxes and buckets refreshing my self on what I still need.
Also spent a lot of time fitting up the grill,spoiler, lights to make sure they all fit to the repairs. Also hanging the tail gates and rear bumpers, getting gaps and brackets lined up before they get beaten. The repair that was done to the rear was absolutely crap. Bog in some places was 25mm thick.
I managed to find all the tail gate hardware bar 1 of the upper brackets for the strut to bolt to. I never had it any way. Will send them off to the platers once the gates come off again.
