Hanging Rock Car Show 2011

Hi All.

Any one thinking of going to Hanging Rock Car show tommorow, keep an eye out for myself and Ian in his HZ. We will be parked together and will be getting there about 8.30am. We might be able to get more than the two Sandmans together if anyone else is coming??

Hey Rob depending on how much sleep i get on night shift tonight Im gunna try and get along. Still sans sandman unfortunately but ill get there one way or another!!

What a day. There were around 3 thousand cars this year. Biggest I have ever seen it. They were literally running out of room for the cars in the end.

Only 2 Sandmans though (Robs and ours)



And who should win the best car in show?

I think he needs to take out a Tatts ticket. There is something about the Yellow van that attracts the bugs and the judges. Gets their juices all flowing when they look in the back and see that vinyl archway :Chin:

Might not be all luck though as Robs brother in law won the whole thing last year so there could be a pattern worth investigating here.

Hi All

Thanks Ian for posting photos etc. Still cannot believe that the yellow beast took out top prize. Big win for the Sandman brand when you consider all the GT's, Monaros & exotic stuff etc etc..(not Bad for a $20,000 investment)
Been told today there was a Green Sandman there as well (not sure what model).We didnt find that one Ian.This show covers such a big area you have to break it into sections, but still didnt get around all of it.
Ian we have a Tatts outlet up a few doors from our office so i might take your advice on ridng my luck.

Starting to think that I am the only one that likes HZs as well
