    NRMA would not insure my WB with 14+8" rims on it.

    The NSW RTA simply go off the engine block prefix - that's the only ID they have for a motor type. They don't know if it's a carby or EFI.

    This is why you can put an EFI top end onto a QT prefix motor, and do nothing else, but if you put the VU prefix block into a VK you need to fit a cat convertor & ULP filler neck - even if you put a carby top end on it!

    Man you guys have it tuff over there,I just read some of the regs and it scares me.
    Seems if they want to kill the modded car over there!
