You're going to tell me the ride height is too high for a V8? ;)

Thanks for the previous info, it all comes together when you point those out.

Damn! We're going to have to call you Sherlock or Columbo, you might be watching too many CSI shows working out all these tiny details.
    Much appreciated mate. :knockout:

    Mint Green or Super Mint?

Colour is Azure Blue and tailgate hinges are the short ones.... ;)

    It's also a 6cyl van.......
Many thanks for the help ... And I have another question, probably easier: With the HZ Sandman, were there different van colours called Mint Green and Super Mint? I have 1977 correspondence from GMH which mentions both names, and I'm wondering if it's a typo.

    Hi sscott,
I'd like to get a scan of that if you do. The only ones I have are here at the moment.

    Hi Blocker,
Many thanks, I had forgotten that the colour cards were there. I see Mint Julep was available with HX, and the darker Super Mint was in HZ. So perhaps someone in GMH was just being vague when they listed an early-build company demo HZ Sandman van as ``Mint Green''. They probably meant Super Mint.

True Greg but I was going on the colour being Azure Blue rather than the darker HJ Casino Blue..... although colour is hard to distinguish in pics on a computer so it could possibly be Casino Blue. A pity the door trims aren't clearer as that would confirm the model.

I do recall seeing another Aunger bruchure back in the day showing the van from the front and from a vague memory it was a HQ.

Do you know an approximate date for the hinge change over on HJ.... again from my vague memory my old 75 HJ van had the short hinges..... I think...
