    pinchweld colour

    Hi,

I just came across this forum while searching the web trying to figure out what colour the pinchweld should be in my HX Sandman ... should it always be black or be the same colour as the seats and door trims etc.

My van had late model seats and wrong door trims etc. when I got it so not sure what colour pinchweld it should have, I have a set to match the seats and a black set so now I have returned its interior to original i want to get it right ... looking at pics on the web has only confused me more as I have seen original condition cars with it both ways. All the brochures I have seen only seem to have black interior pics so they haven't helped either.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Cheers

Yea it can be tough. Welcome to the forums, glad you stopped by.
For me it's been a very quick lesson in learning that a car 'returned to original condition' may not necessarily be exactly that. I do not know the answer to your question... so I wont even try to answer it with a guess. ;)

However you will get someone dropping by to lend a hand.

    Cheers.

According to the HX parts catalogue the ... "Windlace - door opening" is the same colour as the trim.

Cheers guys for the quick replies. Its not a big issue obviously but as I have black and the trim colour I thought I'd do some research. I suspected the same colour as the trim but wasn't sure. Once again thanks.
