I thought it was only wb that had those cut of rails to suit the front panels? the two HZ's i have have the full ends. unless maybe your hz had a wb front on it at some stage it would have to be cut down to fit..... back to you oz LOL

WB will have the same RTS suspension geometry as all rails from about 6/77. As Oz says, only WB have the nose cut off. Mook, are you aware that a HQ-HZ bar won't bolt onto that chassis properly? put the bar on now and you'll see why, the front bolts don't go in. It will still stay there, but sometimes they don't sit right or wobble around a bit. See how it goes and if you aren't happy with it you canweld the HQ-HZ nose pieces back on.
Looks good Mook, nice and shiny. Pardon my ignorance but what's that wrapped in the foil underneath.
sinbox is a wb and the hz bar fitted perfect, but as byron said you only use the back 2 holes...
and yes only wb have that nose cut off on the chassis..
It was a secret weight saving method devised by GMH to make 4.2L WB's faster than earlier series 5.0L utes and vans.
