Just updating on the progress of the van.
The Drivers side bodywork is now completed. as well as the roof. The passenger side has virtually no rust, so hopefully it will be alot quicker and easier for the boys to do.

we were unable to find a rust free passenger door, so the HQ door is being converted to HJ-WB by removing couple of panel sections from another door. It should work in theory....

    Looking great mook.

What's with the front of the rails, or are wb rails different like that?

Don't really know to be honest, but i have seen it on other cars before. I'm sure that some one on here will be able to give us an answer. It looks way better in real life as the photo was taken on a phone..

Looks great Mook, getting on well, funny how we all have sheets and quilts all over our motors so we can lean on the side and not mark the guards...I don't even wear jewellery near the van anymore in case I scratch something:sick:

I thought it was only wb that had those cut of rails to suit the front panels? the two HZ's i have have the full ends. unless maybe your hz had a wb front on it at some stage it would have to be cut down to fit..... back to you oz LOL

Looks good - time for me to call Dennis again to give him a 'hassle-call'.
