Looks great Mook, getting on well, funny how we all have sheets and quilts all over our motors so we can lean on the side and not mark the guards...I don't even wear jewellery near the van anymore in case I scratch something:sick:

thats a wb chassis..no other chassis is cut off like that ..
I sort of got used to it being orange and white. cant get the green into my head?
Looks good Mook! Nearly there.
almost time for an update then for my profile pic.. lol.
Cheers for that info oz, that would explain why i have seen it then. is it the same as an hz chassis, so a radial tuned thing?
I thought it was only wb that had those cut of rails to suit the front panels? the two HZ's i have have the full ends. unless maybe your hz had a wb front on it at some stage it would have to be cut down to fit..... back to you oz LOL
1976 HJ XX7 Sandman
Genuine VN SS manual atlas grey
HX LE Coupe project
WB will have the same RTS suspension geometry as all rails from about 6/77. As Oz says, only WB have the nose cut off. Mook, are you aware that a HQ-HZ bar won't bolt onto that chassis properly? put the bar on now and you'll see why, the front bolts don't go in. It will still stay there, but sometimes they don't sit right or wobble around a bit. See how it goes and if you aren't happy with it you canweld the HQ-HZ nose pieces back on.
