Well done mook, very nice indeed.
"Proud To Be An Old Fart".
Looks good Mook
hey jennie,
The van was painted in the green, then masked up for the blackouts then cleared. took alot of time and effort with the masking and prep. Worked from 8.30 to 7.30 big day. It was getting buffed tonight to get it super flat! cant wait to see it with the tailgates, bonnet and wheels!
Thanks everyone for the encouragement so far, has taken alot of time and money! I wouldn't recommend doing a full resto to anyone unless they fully understood the heartache that could unfold.

just a phone pic, blackouts still need to be finished on the inside of the door jamb, but otherwise paint is almost complete.

I haven't posted how the van is going recently, i have been super busy with work..
Not the greatest but i got to pay for the van somehow.
The van has moved from the panel shop a while ago to a mates place where it can be safely put back together. (Blocker i haven't seen your beast in there yet?)
At the moment I'm hunting a good pair of bonnet hinges. All of the ones that i have are very loose.
If anyone knows how to fix them, or somewhere where they can be fixed, please let me know.
I'm also getting back into ebay to sell off some of my clutter that i know i won't need.
I'm looking for some advice on a block & trans that came from the magical tunner that I got my hands on (for those who remember)
The bores on the block measure
4.0560 Inches
What size oversize is this?
There is also a T350 (well that's whats stamped onto the pan)
Now what could I look for to help describe their condition.
The Block's date cast is 24F6 and the no is almost indistinguishable 11QT7###
I Still don't know to be honest, probably with HQ-HJ if anything.
Cheers in advance.
Also, does anyone know of any good zinc platers in adelaide?

I'll have to get some photos of the dash up to see what you think.
To be honest this resto has been very testing for me, never having done any work on cars before i completely underestimated the amount of time and money that it would take. It's getting oh so close now.
