i've got a entire front set of sealed beam mounting bits if you want at them, my halogen reflectors fit with no problems, just popped the reflector into the holder, popped the trim ring on and presto, no issues.

i used a Narva headlamp kit and yes, the glass does poke out a little but thats because the H4 globe is quite long.

the taillights have a little oval shaped stainless clip that sits in the hole, it is very similar to the same clips you get on badges, just a wee bit bigger... holdens used a bit of caulking to seal the pin holes too, (thats the hard beige stuff you find around the pins on 'fresh off the car' surrounds)

drop me a PM with your details if you need to scavenge any bits mate

Started to try to put bits back on over the weekend.
    MASSIVE FAIL!
nothing was going to happen easily.
serves me right for buying the cheap headlight kit.

I kinda expected that this would happen, considering that all of the cars that have gone onto the van were in bits and the van was a rolling shell..

OZ would you be kind enough to harvest me some clips from your meadow of fine relics? or anyone else for the matter?

mook..heres the pics of the narrowed rear bar on my injected van...

    --- Updated ---

to do the narrowed rear bar properly you must use a corner cut from a sedan or wagon to get it to tuck in without touching as per the pics..the guy that built it made his own bar brackets so this bar does tuck in a bit closer hence the touching on the body..

very much appreciated! looks to be a bit of a bind..
Looks like ill be going for the bumperettes then.
I'll show my mate that's helping me with the build. He is a fan of the full width rear bar, i was too.. but I'm starting to think that the bumberettes are better idea.

Enjoy the great weather you are having!

BTW those headlight surrounds are great! I'll post some pics once i have worked out how to polish them.

    http://www.narva.com.au/products/browse/standard-optics

PN# 72050 is what i used for my dual beams (outers), they swap straight into the holden housings with no mods

i have original hella halogen high beams (inners) which dont have any pattern on the front glass, but would like a new set of reflectors as mine are slightly corroded... narva also do a simelar version but i cant confirm they fit in the holden housings
