General Decal and Part numbers

I have a list of decals and part numbers, would like to get confirmation and corrections please. Read it carefully, maybe you have parts books you can reference. Would like to put this up on the main site, once we can confirm a correct list.
Those decals that are unconfirmed should be noted as such until proof can be found.

This is the updated and corrected list.

HX

• DX5 Plum - Purple - Dark Blue p/n 9944056
• DY1 Orange - Brown - Dark Brown p/n 9944057
• DY2 Orange - Bright Blue - Blue p/n 9944058
• DY3 Yellow - Orange - Red p/n 9944059
• DY4 Bright Yellow - Light Orange - Dark Orange p/n 9944060

HZ

• DX5 Light Blue - Mid Blue - Dark Blue p/n 92001680
• DY1 Orange - Brown - Dark Brown p/n 9944057

* - This part number was updated by supplier from HX series, because the colour of the Red was changed between HX and HZ series.
! - Part numbers are for Tailgate decals.

If this passes the scrutinizers, I will start building up a database of images of the different decals from original photos where possible.

Notice how the DY3 part numbers changed in HZ from HX. this is becuase HZ red is much darker than HX.

Same with DX5 from early HZ to late HZ.
So because my Carribean Turquiose van is a HZ, which DX5 colours do i go?

There is no early and late HZ decal...... There is only HX Sandman decals and HZ Sandman decals. I have checked the individual decal part numbers rather than the decal set part numbers.... the sets seem to have the typo's in the parts books but the individual decals have all the correct part numbers.

Note as Jason has said the DY3 part number has been superceded in HZ due to the colour change of the red.

Those part numbers are for the end gate (tailgate) transfer only, there are also part numbers for the "Sandman" fender decals as either a set of two or left and right, left and right fender stripes, left and right door stripes, left and right quarter panel stripes and petrol cap decal. I haven't found part numbers for the complete sets yet.

HZ
DY6 Purple - Plum - Dark Blue
DX5 Light Blue - Mid Blue - Dark Blue
DY4 White - Blue - Dark Blue

The last colour being the middle and most prominent colour. For some reason the new HZ decals are typed back to front in the parts manual and has caused some confusion with restorers...
There are cars out there with decal colours back to front on them like these two below........ however they look quite good..
