At the moment I have a few things no my wish list, no doubt this will grow as I break something or when Absinth kindly points out I have the wrong 'doo-dat' for the HJ :(

External
Front doors - driver and passenger.
Battery plate.
front wheel wells - left and right.
Beaver panel.
Front cowl.
Top tailgate door.
Side panels (to replace windows).
Radiator support frame.
Set of rims.

Internal
Centre console.
Left and Right rear internal panels (the ones people destroy to mount their speakers).
Internal light assembly.
Bonnet/Hood release cable.
Silver dash fascia.

Best bet for most parts is to find a good wrecker as they are usually much, much cheaper than EBay especialy for some of the iinterior parts than are non GTS specific. Or a swap meet. I just got a Right hand upper door hinge for $5 at a swap met. I have seen them go for up to $80 on Ebay.

Don't waste money on side panels for the windows. Just have each one welded in

With the Centre console, don't forget you can paint it easily enough

Yes the wrecker is your friend, much more so than Flebay. In fact the current frustration by man that prices are so high on ebay is because 'we' are so friggin lazy and don't hit the wreckers as much as we should. If there was less demand on Flebay I reckon the prices would drop.

Yes Absinth I do have a silver fascia (check my latest blog for the hiRes pics you wanted). But I do need a silver panel that is missing ust under the hand brake and high beam indicator... I think it might have been the auto selector(?). Anyway just want that panel to place into the one I have.

The problem with wreckers, at least here in Brisbane is most of them have cleaned up their yards because of enviromental regulations and most of their pre 80's cars have gone to scrap metal heaven. A lot of don't have anything prior to VN Commodere.

Oh, you have the column auto fascia............... I didn't notice that.........um, don't know how to tell you this........but..........there is no such part as an infill panel for the selector window. That is why there are different part numbers for the facia's, manual and console auto had that section moulded in.

Sorry mate, if you want to use that facia you will have to cut the piece from another facia and weld it into that one............ does it have a part number decal on it?

That's what I was planning on doing - cutting the piece and replacing. Unless I come across a silver fascia without a hacked radio space and most importantly a filled/original left side vent.

I sold a set a while back adam. Got over 100 for the pair. crazy!

I have a complete HZ Van here. Windowless and 95% rust free. Original Paint. Its quite amazing. If it interestes you Andrew let me know and I will send pics.
