Thanks Byron, I was going to ask the panel beater but the driver side isnt much good anyway. Oh well that's the fun huh! Searching for the right bits. I dug around a bit and need a section of the sill as well. Wont know until I bare metal the shell anyway. :-)

They would be if you are planning on putting a wagon full rear bar on though..

Still looks stupid and doesn't align right, the whole quarter shape is different, not just the bottom. Surely no-one would butcher a Sandman nowadays by using HJ sedan/wagon rear quarters and a wagon rear bar?

Dont worry Byron.. all HQ as much as I can for me. As I said I grabbed the HZ shell for the powersteering box as mine is worn and a bit sticky. TwoTees, a mate on here, has a HZ XX7 van that needs the bit inside the taillight. It had a small hit in that section which he beated out but it distroyed the inner section. I was just going to cut the shell up and keep bits for some sections. I found a small bit of rust in the drivers sill to fix. I have found a good front cowl on a HQ kingswood that Ill unpick to replace mine.

Thanks for your advice and pointing me in right direction.

Did that wagon have a power steering box in it?

Bugger. I had it in my watchlist and completely forgot to bid. The guy was 2 minutes up the road as well.

No nasty suprises. Cowl is toast but I knew that. Didnt find any chicken wire stuffed in large holes etc.... turrent and gutter line is rust free so thats a bonus. Just a few small holes behind the back quarters and one small bit in the sill from the drivers cowl leaking. Back and floors really good.
