DY2 question

Hey stickthis, the dy2 sticker set with the orrange out line. have you fitted a set? just wondering if the orrange is printed on a clear background and does if fade off when put on a darker colour like sper mint. I know the sets Tony from the VCSA printed a few years back did. Im thinking of painting my HZ super mint but i dont like the HZ dy4 with the white out line.

Gday Raz. I dont know of anyone fitting them to any other colour than white or yellow.

I can try a stuffup piece on a dark colour if you like to see how much change in colour there is.

The light colours like you say are hard to make them solid over dark paint. We have this issue with the DY4 kits. The white needs to be very solid. Working on it at the moment. Have done it with the HQ sandman white kits so dont see the issue with the DY4 kits.

Why not go with HX DX5 or HZ DY6 on a super mint? I think it would look tops.

Im not to keen on the purple but yeah it would look good. Maybe the Hz DX5 ? but that may have the same issue being light colour. If it only fades a bit that would be ok.

not that its much help but mine didnt change one bit, although im a bright yellow van its not noticeable.

the other thing i should point out is that the white 'undercoat' print layer is fairly thick so i'd imagine that the colour would remain full and vibrant.
