GV2 is the diff code in HQ for 3.36 Salsbury. GV4 is 3.55 Salsbury.
ok, oldholden lists the axels as ...
RRAXLE (Rear Axle / Diff Ratio)
GU4 - 3.08:1.
GU7 - 2.78:1.
GU8 - 3.90:1.
GV2 - 3.36:1 - only applicable to V8 HQ's.
GV4 - 3.36:1.
GV7 - 3.55:1.
G70 - 2.60:1 .
Yep GV2 is for HQ V8's, the other models use GV4 both codes mean 3.36. Thats what I read into the above post.
HX L31 Sandman - Papaya
LX SLR5000 - Aquarius
Sleekline Ski Boat - Silver/White
I get the question now. HQ and LJ used different codes for banjo and salisbury. At HJ (and earlier LH) release the codes changed and they were the same for banjo and salisbury for the same ratio (no sals in LH). So ignore that list on oldholden, it is a mixture of the 2 x systems. G95 is the HQ code for 3.36 banjo.
Thanks for clarifying that. Bit confusing..lol
