    Gday Absinth.

    the details are thus:

    HZ8WM70
    Body 1935-60V
    paint 567-30526
    L31 m21 GV4
    GVW 1950

    1935 = Carribean Turquoise.
    60V = Chamois vinyl.

    The van came with this interior pretty much, but Byron emailed me the details which broke down the different interior colours.
    From Byron - "If you send me a fax number I can give you a list of what is what colour in the interior, photocopied out of the HZ parts manual. The hoodlining would have been 'chamois' and the carpet 'covert' (a green)."

    So to answer your interior question, Im not sure but I thought thats how it was supposed to be.

    Anyhoo, yes also the console is wrong. Good pickup! The one in it was knackered so i grabbed another out of a HJ statesman.

    Cheers.

    hi Hainzy, yes 60V is Chamois and Byron is correct about the dash and carpet being Covert but unless I am mistaken about your pic and the colours then your interior appears to be light blue.

    Your dashpad, lower dash and carpet should be Covert but the seats, console, door trims and armrests should be Chamois. The door windlace (pinchweld) in your pic appears to be the correct Chamois.

    Here is a pic of a HJ LS Monaro with Chamois trim and your interior should be pretty much the same. Covert is pretty much the colour of an olive.

    Red face

    Thanks Absinth.
    I have been looking into it and spoke to Byron and it looks like the bloke before me got the seats etc out of another HZ, but they aint right. They look light blue in the pic but they are actually a kind of light green. But it seems the seats, door trims and dash pad are the wrong ones so I guess Ill be on the look for replacement when i have some spare $$.

    I gues you could call it a covert operation!!

    Cheers for yr input (and a pox on you too for making me spend more money...!! ha.)

    Sorry to cost you more $$$ Hainzy...:lol:

    Your seats, dash etc. do look light blue in the pics but if they are light green then they must be 33C - Sage Green trim. The carpet doesn't look right either, it looks like a dark green plush pile and should be Covert loop pile. Hard to tell from the pic though.

    Gday,

    How did you go with information you have Stickthis?

    I have attached a pic of mine... I think it's `buckskin'... I've always called it `Sandstone'

    Cheers
