LD1 / L14 = 173 motor
m20 is not wide ratio, more a standard ratio.
the M22 was the wide ratio (one tonna box)
ADR tag = safety compliance tag. as per diagram.

HQ sandman avail only Jan 1974 to october 1974. HJ start Oct 1974

i have a 4/76 Melbourn Kingswood sandman ute recorded i think at home. - i can put up ID tag spec when i get home from the mines.

look at the recent one on EBAY - the $2000 shell
were post 9/1975 6 cyl sandman utes 1800 kg??????? - not sure - need more research., but have a look at its tags.

GM-H changed to this around the same time they went to metric in the 70s.

no, its on the BODY plate..
include GVM increases in the HZ series from 12/1977 onwards
1950kg to 2000 kg for XX7 van
1860 kg to 1950 Kg for XX7 utes
also the last sandman ute is 5/1979 build, and van would be october?? - 10 /1979
i posted these individually so they can be discussed individually.
also add a section on "do all of my tags match up??"
where :
the serial number on the VIN = the body number on the BODY plate (minus the last letter which indicates build location.)
The chassis number on the ADR tag should be the same as the chassis rail
